Parking changes affect Research Park, WVU Medicine Corporate Office

The following parking changes will affect WVU Medicine employees who park at the Research Park and use the shuttle:

Beginning today, June 27, employees will start parking in a new lot that has more than 600 spaces. The new lot is across from the old lot (see map below). A security officer will be stationed at the old lot to direct employees to the new site.

A parking attendant will be posted at the new location to assist with any issues.

The following parking changes will affect WVU Medicine employees who park in the WVU Medicine Corporate Office lot and use the shuttle:

All employees who do not work in the WVU Medicine Corporate Office (formerly ROC 2) will need to park in the gravel lot (Area 204), beginning today, June 27. If the WVU Medicine Corporate Office lot is full, please use the Research Park lot.

The shuttles will now pick up and drop off in front of the building, outside of the Center for Education and Organizational Development (CEOD) entrance.

Those who work in the WVU Medicine Corporate Office should park in the front or back parking areas, not in the gravel lot.

Additional information:

Beginning today, June 27, all job offers made through Human Resources will include an assignment to park at an off-site lot with an option to use the lots surrounding Ruby in about six months.

The purpose for these parking changes is to create more space for patient/visitor parking.

Also, all shuttles are now running Monday, starting at 5:30 a.m., through 8 a.m. Saturday.
