In September, the Butterfly Initiative website launched on CONNECT. The site was created to highlight how WVU Medicine is using the Epic electronic health record to transform patient care and quality.

The latest version of Epic is being rolled out to all WVU Medicine facilities. This includes upgrading sites currently using Epic (Ruby Memorial Hospital, Berkeley Medical Center, Jefferson Medical Center) to Epic 2015 and transitioning sites currently using other systems (United Hospital Center, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Potomac Valley Hospital, and Camden Clark Medical Center) to Epic 2015 by the end of 2017.
