Registration for Trauma Night of Recognition closing Sept. 20

Registration for the eighth annual Jon Michael Moore Trauma Center Night of Recognition will close on Wednesday, Sept. 20. The event will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Morgantown Event Center.

This annual event recognizes the hard work and dedication of the many professionals who comprise the trauma system – from the scene of the injury through inpatient hospital care to rehabilitation and recovery. The stories of two patients will be told, and representatives of each stage of their care will be presented with a Cornerstone of Recovery Award. This year’s patient honorees are Chad Kirtley, who was injured in a motorcycle accident, and Kevin Eckenrode, who was injured in a boating accident.

Patients recognized at previous Night of Recognition celebrations will also be in attendance.
