Registration underway for WVU Medicine Take Your Child to Work Day

WVU Medicine is participating in Take Your Child to Work Day on Thursday, April 27.

An event, open to children of WVUH and UHA employees only, will be held at the WVU Recreation Center from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and will feature speakers from various WVU Medicine departments. Lunch will be provided for the children.

Registration forms are now being accepted. The deadline to register is Friday, March 17.

Parents may drop off their children from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and pick them up between 12:15-12:30 p.m. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the Recreation Center.

Children may return to work with their parent for the remainder of the day if the parent has approval from their director.

It is each parent’s responsibility to ensure that all required forms from their child’s school are completed.

Minimum age to participate is six years old and children up to age 12 are recommended.
