Safe Zone training set for June 25

"Safe Zone Training" — a training designed to provide faculty, staff and student leaders with the necessary knowledge and tools to serve as allies to the LGBTQ+ community on campus — is scheduled online Thursday, June 25 from 1 to 3 p.m. 

The event is being hosted by the School of Nursing's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, but is open to the entire Health Sciences community until capacity is reached. The training is made available through the WVU LGBTQ+ Center. 

Interested individuals must register for the event. Zoom meeting information will be sent the day before the training to those who register.
