Sales of raffle tickets for themed baskets will benefit United Way

The raffle ticket pre-sale for themed baskets continues this week at the following dates, times, and locations:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 10 (1-3 p.m.): WVU Medicine University Town Centre
  • Wednesday, Oct. 11 (10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.): Scott Avenue
  • Friday, Oct. 13 (10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.): J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital Cafeteria

The baskets have been donated by departments throughout the organization and proceeds from raffle ticket sales will benefit the United Way of Monongalia and Preston counties.

The tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Raffle tickets will also be on sale at a basket fundraiser on Friday, Nov. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the third-floor atrium of J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. The winners will be drawn at the end of the event.
