West Virginia University is seeking an exceptional leader for the chair of the Department of Medicine at the WVU Health Sciences Center in Morgantown, WV.  Applicants must have a vision for the future of medical education, the discovery of knowledge, and high performing patient-centered care. 

The position requires an individual with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, clinical expertise, demonstrated scholarship, at least two years of administrative experience, and a commitment to service, teaching, and research.  Applicants must be eligible for Associate or Full Professorship at West Virginia University in the clinical or tenure track, have completed an accredited ACGME residency program and be currently certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
