School of Medicine's Alltop Earns Fellowship Designation from the Healthcare Financial Management Association

Jeremy C. Alltop, M.S.A., F.H.F.M.A, chief administrative officer for the School of Medicine, was recently named a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA).

To be awarded the FHFMA distinction, applicants must be credentialed as a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP); be an active participant in the HFMA for at least five years; and, complete volunteer service in the healthcare industry. Only 1,700 HFMA members nationwide have achieved this accomplishment in the organization’s 68-year history.

Alltop joined the School of Medicine in December 2015 after serving in a number of progressively responsible executive level positions in academic medicine, most recently as the associate chief financial officer and director of Financial Services at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Ind., where he provided strategic financial and operational leadership for the school. Prior to that, he was associate dean of Administration and Finance for the University of Kentucky’s College of Dentistry and chief financial officer for the Ohio State University’s Student Health Services.
