St. Joseph’s Hospital to hold blood screening benefitting new Rotary Club of Buckhannon Upshur October 5 and 12

BUCKHANNON, WV- St. Joseph’s Hospital will hold blood screenings at Buckhannon Upshur Middle School and the Community Care Clinic in Rock Cave on 6:30 to 10 am on October 5 and 12. Proceeds will benefit the formation of the new Rotary Club of Buckhannon Upshur. 

Basic blood profile tests will be offered at $35. Additional testing for thyroid will be $5, hemoglobin A1C tests will be $15, colon cancer screening will be $5, prostate testing will be $20, and Hepatitis C antibody testing will be $20.

Flu shots will also be offered at the Buckhannon Upshur Middle School.  The shots are Medicare patients and all others are $32. A quadrivalent flu vaccine guarding against four strains of flu will be given.
