Staff invited to Nurses Week drumming circles; blessing of the hands ceremonies offered

The staff from Chestnut Ridge Center will host two drumming circles for National Nurses Week (May 6-12). The first is Monday, May 7, from 1-2 p.m., and the second is Friday, May 11, from 1-2 p.m. The first drumming circle was held at the flag pole in front of J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital; due to the weather forecast, the second will be held in the Chestnut Ridge Center's gymnasium. All employees are welcome to participate.

Also, the Spiritual Care and Education Office is offering a blessing of the hands, available to staff on each unit. The service is available the entire week; see this schedule for more details.
