Blood drive scheduled for Friday

Every two seconds, someone needs blood, platelets, or plasma to survive. These patients depend on blood donors to roll up their sleeves and give the gift of life.

A blood drive, sponsored by the WVU Division of Occupational Therapy, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, in the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center atrium.

The drive supports Central Blood Bank, J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital’s supplier for blood products.
