Two blood drives to be held this week

Every two seconds, someone needs blood, platelets, or plasma to survive. These patients depend on blood donors to roll up their sleeves and give the gift of life.

WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital is sponsoring two blood drives this week.

The first blood drive is Tuesday, March 6, from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the WVU Medicine Information Technology Center.

The second blood drive, sponsored by the WVU School of Pharmacy and American Pharmacists Association, is Thursday, March 8, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center atrium, located on the first floor.
