Two southeast tower floors open today

Two floors in the new southeast tower – 9 Southeast (SE) and 5 SE – will open during afternoon shift today (Dec. 29).

9 SE will be utilized for floor or step-down unit patients, and 5 SE will be utilized for intensive care unit (ICU) patients. To facilitate ICU staffing and distribution of resources, patients will be transferred to 5 SE and 9 SE this afternoon.

All patient transport and staff and visitor access will be through the connecting points to the main part of Ruby. All travel should be via the connecting corridors on 5 and 9 and then vertically in the main hospital using the appropriate elevators.

Maps have been distributed by email to Leadership Forum for printing and distribution, as needed for patients, visitors, and staff.
