UHC Home Health and Hospice will join the Epic platform

WVU Medicine Home Health and WVU Medicine Hospice at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg and Preston County will migrate to the Epic Home Health (Dorothy) and EpicCare Hospice module on Monday, April 1.

Home care clinicians can use Dorothy and EpicCare Hospice to efficiently document and report on home visits using charting tools, care plans, and discipline-specific assessment with or without an internet connection. Dorothy and EpicCare Hospice are designed to collect information and create reports that are compatible with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rules and regulations.

Other health system agencies will follow UHC later this year.
