Update: Water main break on University Ave. affects water pressure at HSC

Morgantown Utility Board (MUB) has experienced a water main break near the Evansdale McDonald's on University Ave., affecting water pressure at the Health Sciences Center.

Clay Marsh, MD, WVU Health Sciences vice president and executive dean, said: "Due to safety issues for faculty, staff, students and patients, Facilities is asking that everyone leave the building as soon as possible. Patient care clinics and areas in the Health Sciences Center are asked to reschedule patient appointments for another date. Additional information on the situation will be communicated as it is made available.

According to MUB, repairs on the water main should be completed by around 8 or 9 p.m. tonight.
