Volunteer Services seeks help with two projects

WVU Medicine's Department of Volunteer Services is asking for help with two projects:

Volunteers are collecting books for patients but do not need children’s, young adult, or romance books.

Also, junior volunteers are collecting hygiene products (travel items are preferred, but anything is appreciated) for The Pantry Plus More of Monongalia County, as part of an annual summer project. The Pantry Plus More is a non-profit organization that stocks school pantries with food, hygiene products, school supplies, and clothing. These items are for the students to take home as needed.

There are currently collection boxes for personal hygiene items throughout J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital and outside the door of the Volunteer Services office, located on the first floor of the hospital.

Flyers for the book donation and The Pantry Plus drive and can be printed out and posted in WVU Medicine units and departments.
