WVCTSI announces 3 spring funding opportunities

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute (WVCTSI) has released requests for applications (RFA) for the Collaborative,  Launch Pilot Grant, and Small Grant funding opportunities.

The Collaborative RFA  allows applicants to request up to $50,000 in funding which must be utilized over a 12 month period. This funding opportunity requires two principal investigators (PI) from at least two participating institutions (Marshall University, the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, West Virginia University- all campuses).

The Launch Pilot Grant program focuses on accelerating the translation of intellectual property developed by WVCTSI researchers into realized inventions and patents. Applicants can request up to $50,000 in funding, which must be utilized over nine months.

The Small Grants RFA is an open competition where applicants can request up to $5,000 in funding to address the health care needs of West Virginia. This funding must be utilized over six months.
