WVU Camp Kesem accepting camper applications

WVU Camp Kesem, a free summer camp for children of cancer patients, is still accepting campers for a week of fun activities at Camp Sandy Cove in High View, W.Va. (Hampshire County), June 10-15. Learn more.

WVU is one of several colleges around the country that host a Camp Kesem summer camp between June and August for children ages six to 18, who have been affected by a parent’s cancer. Camp Kesem is a nationwide community, driven by passionate college student leaders supporting children through and beyond their parent’s cancer.

The co-directors of the camp are also in need of two volunteer nurses. If you are a nurse and are available, please call (443) 914-2988 or email wvu@campkesem.org.
