WVU Children’s Hospital, Chestnut Mountain Ranch to benefit from golf scramble

Seventh Annual Don Nehlen Classic to be held August 4

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Seventh Annual Don Nehlen Classic to benefit WVU Children’s Hospital and Chestnut Mountain Ranch will be held on Monday, August 4 at the Mystic Rock golf course at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pa.

The day will begin with registration at 7:30 a.m., which is also when the driving range and putting greens open. The golf scramble will officially kick off at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start and will be immediately followed by lunch with Nehlen and the awards presentation. Awards include hole in one, longest putt, longest drive, closest to the pin, and door prizes. There will also be 50-50 drawings.

Golfers participating in the scramble will play 18 holes and will receive a cart, mobile information system and GPS, real-time leaderboard and scoring, use of driving range and putting green, bag-drop service, locker-room privileges, and $10 in casino fanplay for the Lady Luck Casino at Nemacolin.

The individual player fee is $500. Sponsorships for four-man teams are also available. Spouses can join golfers for lunch for $35.
