WVU Children’s Hospital to host memorial service
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The second annual WVU Children’s Hospital Service of Remembrance and Butterfly Release Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 4, in the WVU Health Sciences Center’s Okey Patteson Auditorium.
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with light refreshments and a meet-and-greet opportunity for families and WVU Children’s Hospital staff. At 6 p.m., a single butterfly will be given to each family in memory of a child lost at WVU Children’s Hospital and will be released outside the Health Sciences Center.
A Service of Remembrance will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by fellowship and refreshments.
