WVU Departments of Medicine and Emergency Medicine to host Research Day

The West Virginia University School of Medicine’s Departments of Medicine and Emergency Medicine are hosting a Research Day on Friday, April 27 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Fukushima Auditorium.

The day will start off with Grand Rounds, “Could we eliminate coronary artery disease in our lifetime?” by guest speaker Jagat Narula, M.D., chief of cardiology at Mount Sinai St. Luke's and West hospitals. Oral abstracts presentations and demonstrations from West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute (WVCTSI) will follow. Panel discussions will take place at noon, followed by research related small group sessions where participants get to attend four of eight topics. The Research Day event will conclude with poster presentations from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Further details and an email registration link to follow in the coming weeks. Lunch and snacks will be provided for those who register.
