WVU Medicine hosts eastern panhandle job fair

MARTINSBURG, W.VA. – WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center, Jefferson Medical Center and University Healthcare Physicians will host a job fair on May 7 from 3 until 6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg.

Recruiters and hiring managers will be on site to conduct interviews for open positions in all departments. Candidates are requested to bring an updated resume to the event.

“We plan to screen, interview, and make offers to qualified candidates on the spot,” Kathy Fillman, recruitment specialist, said. “Information on WVU Medicine’s competitive benefits package will also be available at the job fair.”

WVU Medicine departments currently hiring include nursing, prescheduling/registration, environmental services, dietary services, security, lab, radiology, rehab, respiratory/sleep and medical offices. Positions include registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, patient care tech, surgical tech, phlebotomist, registration specialist, echo tech, med tech, radiology technologist, certified medical assistant, housekeepers, and more.
