WVU Medicine recognizes employee service

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. – WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center, Jefferson Medical Center and University Healthcare Physicians recently recognized 192 employees for their years of service at a celebration dinner held at the Hollywood Casino ballroom.

President and CEO Anthony P. Zelenka thanked the group for their dedication and service to both hospitals and the physician practices over the years. Years of service ranged from five years to 45 years. The honorees represented a total of 2540 years of service.

Vickie Davis, Barbara Rudy, and John McDonald were recognized for 45 years of service at Berkeley Medical Center. Employees honored for 40 years of service at Berkeley and Jefferson Medical Centers included Irene Allen, Judith Barrett, Anna Cochran, Rhonda Cogswell, Denise Douty, Robert Hartman, Don Holmes, and Joni Murphy.

As part of the evening’s program, the 2018 Quality Service Award winners were announced for each hospital. Selenna Gladhill, Mammography, and Russell Miller, Interventional Radiology, were selected from the monthly QSA winners at Berkeley Medical Center. Shaun Amos, Operating Room, was named the QSA winner at Jefferson Medical Center from the quarterly winners.
