WVU Medicine's United Way campaign seeks volunteer ambassadors

WVU Medicine will begin its United Way campaign on Sept. 5.

The campaign team is seeking employees to serve as ambassadors from Sept. 5 until Nov. 10, when the campaign ends. The ambassadors will work as a team and target areas to publicize the campaign.

Other duties include:

  • attending training to learn about the pledging process and other items; training sessions will be held Sept. 6, 13, and 14.
  • assisting with questions concerning ePledge, pledging, or United Way facts
  • conducting individual fundraisers
  • assisting with the main event at the end of the campaign

Volunteers should send their contact information to the campaignco-chairs, Becky Wright and/or Jennifer Arcaro.

Ambassadors should sign up for a training session in myNetLearning (the class is titled “United Way Campaign Training”) no later than Friday, Sept.1.
