WVU Medicine, Trinity Temple Church of God announce community health fair

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center is participating in the annual For the Ones We Love health and wellness event hosted by the Trinity Temple Church of God from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 15 in downtown Martinsburg.  

This event offers something for all ages, including fun activities for kids, refreshments, health information, and free screenings. Many community agencies will be participating to promote health and wellness. 

Berkeley Medical Center will be hosting a health fair at the event. Representatives from various departments will be providing health information, free screenings, and giveaways. The Berkeley County Health Department will be onsite offering free flu shots, and the American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Bonnie’s Bus, a mobile digital mammography unit operated by the WVU Cancer Institute, will also be onsite from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. offering three-dimensional (3D) digital mammograms and breast care education to area women. For details or an appointment, call 304-264-1287, ext. 32027.  

A portion of Tuskegee Street in front of the church in downtown Martinsburg will be blocked off for this event.
