WVU Medicine United Way campaign underway

WVU Medicine’s 2017 United Way Campaign started Sept. 12 – and contributions are already occurring.

Pledges can be made by using the online ePledge system (requires log-in). Employees who complete their 2017 campaign pledge prior to Friday, Oct. 14, and make at least a $52 contribution will be eligible to win eight hours of PDO.

Employees can also fill out a paper pledge form and turn it into their department coordinator, drop it into the lockbox located inside the Nursing Resource office on the fourth floor of J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, contact Mary C Wilson to arrange pickup, or send it to Becky Wright through campus mail.

The United Way of Monongalia and Preston counties and its 27 health and human service agencies give our neighbors and co-workers a place to turn – and hope for a brighter tomorrow. These agencies touch people of all ages, from all walks of life.

Over the years, WVU Medicine and its employees have contributed more than $1.6 million to the effort. This year's campaign goal is $200,000. The WVU Medicine campaign chair is Tony Condia, vice president of Marketing and Communications.

To ensure that the United Way continues to have the resources it needs to make a difference in the lives of those in our community, consider making a donation and making a difference.

Questions? Contact campaign chair Tony Condia; co-chairs Sara Fazenbaker, Patrick Murphy, and Jennifer Bass; or your department coordinator.
