WVU Medicine welcomes neurologist

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center and University Healthcare Physicians announce the addition of Apoorv Prasad, M.D., neurologist, to WVU Medicine Neurology in Martinsburg.

Dr. Prasad received his medical degree from Grant Government Medical College in Mumbai, India. He completed his residency in neurology at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, and his fellowship in stroke at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

A member of the Berkeley Medical Center medical staff, Prasad specializes in stroke with special interests in epilepsy, headache, nerve conductor studies, migraine disorders, and multiple sclerosis.
