WVU Sports Medicine experts join West Virginia Radio's pregame football coverage

WVU Sports Medicine experts will be featured on 10 radio stations statewide on WVU football Saturdays, continuing with the Youngstown State game on Saturday, Sept. 10.

WVU Medicine has become an official game-day sponsor of the pre-game show, and the title sponsor of the post-game show on West Virginia Radio. The interviews with WVU physicians, conducted by host Hoppy Kercheval, will be broadcast on the Sports Brunch and the WVU Medicine Point-After shows on the following radio stations:

  • WVAQ-FM and WAJR-AM in Morgantown
  • WAJR-FM in Clarksburg
  • WBTQ-FM in Buckhannon
  • WELK-FM in Elkins
  • WSWW-FM in Summersville
  • WCHS-AM in Charleston
  • WQZK-FM and WVMD-FM in Keyser
  • WJLS-FM in Beckley

In the course of the season, WVU Sports Medicine physicians will be talking about concussions, spinal fractures, contusions, ACLs, steroid use, shoulder instability, throwing injuries, and more. The Sports Brunch begins two hours before each game; the WVU Medicine Point-After begins two hours after the game ends.
