WVU Student Engagement and Leadership celebrated the accomplishments of student organizations, leaders, advisors and programs during its annual Student Organization Excellence Awards Banquet on April 16.
The Delta Omega Honorary Society Gamma Mu Chapter at the WVU School of Public Health was awarded Outstanding Student Organization.
Presented by the Student Government Association, the award acknowledges an organization that has had a positive impact on WVU and the community. It recognizes the student organization has demonstrated consistent flexibility, initiative, creativity and perseverance. Additionally, it awards an organization that has made a meaningful contribution to students, WVU and/or the surrounding community.
