Faculty and Staff of WVU School of Dentistry,

Thank you again for your incredible generosity and support of our mission trip to Antigua, Guatemala, 2024!. What you have done to facilitate student involvement this year had a truly massive impact on the number of patients and lives we were able to affect on our trip. I can't thank you enough for everything you did to enable their participation. You have given us the power to change so many people's lives. I wish everyone had a chance to see it in person.

The students lit up when interacting with the patients. Each and every one of them impressed me so much with their clinical competence and professionalism. In diagnosis, chairside manner, and confidence I saw them grow so much during our trip and it was sincerely awesome to witness.

I hope to work more with WVU SOD on future mission trips to allow more students to join. There was a wealth of personal and professional growth for the students themselves, and so much patient care given that we would not have been able to provide without their help.

(We joined the local dentist who we meet each year at this clinic. His name is Dr. Barahona and he works with his assistant, Thelma. They are overjoyed with the help we provide and to the donations we bring. They work all year to coordinate with visiting dentists to bring help to their community and the people in need. We couldn't have done all these things without your support.
Sincerely, Maggie Conde, DDS
