To Reduce COVID-19 Health Disparities in Adults with Diabetes and Comorbid Chronic Conditions

This project seeks to address COVID-19 Among Adults with High Risk Conditions such as Diabetes and other Chronic Conditions. The PI will implement activities described herein in 26 HSTA counties in West Virginia to explore perceptions and barriers, knowledge, and concerns regarding COVID-19 and vaccines; develop a culturally and health literacy appropriate educational intervention to increase COVID-19 health literacy, knowledge, and vaccine acceptance; and disseminate educational materials to a wider audience including high-risk adults with diabetes in West Virginia.
