The Board of Governors recently approved the selection of Sodexo to assume dining services operations, which includes The Market at Health Sciences. Specific food options are still being determined, and WVU is working with Sodexo to present the best solutions for our students, faculty and staff.
The Market will temporarily close on August 31 to accommodate the switch to the new vendor. Options such as food trucks will be offered as alternatives while The Market is closed. The Market is estimated to reopen approximately six weeks after the start of renovations.
Cavanaugh’s, the coffee shop on the first floor in the Pylons lobby, will also be included in the new agreement and will undergo renovations in the future. Information on a timetable will be released soon.
