ORGE Internal Study Section  NIH-formatted grant applications can be submitted to the Internal Study Section in order to receive constructive feedback from colleagues.

OGRE Grant Consultation This program entails working one-on-one with a professional grant writing consultant. Consideration for this program requires nomination by the faculty member’s departmental chairperson and should be initiated 4-6 months prior to the the grant submission deadline. CTSI K Grant Writing Group This program provides guidance and structured writing opportunities to early-stage clinical and translational investigators planning to apply for a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Mentored Career Development Training Award (K series grant). The K-Club program is structured as a facilitated group writing process, featuring weekly of 2 hour “works-in-progress” sessions over a 3-4 month period. New GWGs are formed three times per year, approximately four months prior to a NIH submission deadline.

CTSI R01 Grant Writing Group  This program assists faculty members with the development and submission of a NIH R01 research grant application. The R01 GWG program participants provide peer-to-peer feedback to their group members and, in turn, receive constructive feedback to support the development of their own application for submission. The GWG meets weekly for 5-6 weeks. New GWGs are formed three times per year, approximately four months prior to a NIH submission deadline.  

CTSI R03/R21 Grant Writing Group This program assists faculty members with the development and submission of a NIH small research grant application (R21 or R03). The R03/R21 GWG program participants provide peer-to-peer feedback to their group members and, in turn, receive constructive feedback to support the development of their own application for submission. The GWG meets weekly for 5-6 weeks.  New GWGs are formed three times per year, approximately four months prior to a NIH submission deadline.

Office of Research Proposal Redevelopment Program This program will help faculty find and pay for aid in the re-drafting and re-writing of an external grant proposal that was peer-reviewed but not selected for funding within the past 24 months.
