Simulation Certificate Program
The Faculty Development program at Health Sciences Center provides many opportunities for enhancing the teaching and scholarship activities of faculty from all disciplines. Three levels of training are available in the Simulation Certificate Program:
Faculty Orientation to Simulation
STEPS offers an introductory workshop on using simulation for education. This session will be held annually or as requested by departments who utilize the STEPS center for learners. Continuing Education is offered for the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Dentistry and is now available online at http://ce.wvu.edu/web-courses/steps/
Session objectives include:
- Describe the STEPS simulation program
- Differentiate 4 simulation modalities
- Utilize 4 components of simulation education
- Discuss individual questions
