Copying Pages

Copying allows you to create a duplicate page (or a duplicate group of pages, if the targeted page has pages under it). This can be helpful when you want to make a new page, but follow a similar format as an existing page. Rather than clicking between this new page and an existing page, you can save time by Copying it and creating a duplicate you can edit.

Copying a Page #

  1. Right click on the page you want to copy. Note: If you are unable to right click, you can also open the page and click the purple "Actions" drop down from the top right corner.
  2. Click  Copy.
  3. To the right of the page listing, a duplicate listing will appear. Click on the page you want the duplicate created under (also known as a "parent" page, one level above where you want the duplicate created). The icon of the "parent" page you choose will change to a  green check mark.
  4. Click Copy. Note: To see your changes reflect in the page listing, you may need to refresh. The duplicate page(s) will be created, but unpublished by default.
