Carlee Frye, MSN-FNP Candidate

Carlee Frye is a current student at Marshall University enrolled in the Master of Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She grew up loving the role of a family nurse practitioner and how it is so similar, yet so different, from a physician. She is also passionate about the collaborative care displayed by physicians and nurse practitioners, as it emphasizes the importance of providing quality care as a team to patients.

Frye's mother was a nurse practitioner, and she therefore became her role model as she pursued her career in the health professions; she has significantly influenced Frye's plans to continue to work in the rural state of WV and provide clinical expertise as a provider post graduation.
