Courtney Douglas is a second year student enrolled in the Doctor of Clinical Psychology Program (Psy.D.) at Marshall University; prior to embarking oh her Psy.D journey, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bowling Green State University in 2017 with minors in Spanish and Dance. 

Courtney is currently completing her practicum requirements at the Psychology Clinic at Marshall University.  Additionally, Courtney is a graduate assistant at The College Program for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and tutors undergraduate students in Spanish at Marshall University. 

Courtney grew up in a small town in eastern Ohio and witnessed the barriers to mental health treatment that are present in rural communities.  She is passionate about advocating for the mental health needs of children and adolescents, specifically in areas where mental health is stigmatized.  Courtney hopes to work with children and families in hospital-based care upon graduation.
