Psychological and Behavioral Services:

Clinical Director: Jessica Luzier, Ph.D., ABPP, CEDS-S
Jessica Luzier, Ph.D., ABPP, CEDS-S is an Associate Professor in the WVU School of Medicine, Charleston Division. She is a board certified clinical psychologist who serves as the Clinical Director of the WVU Disordered Eating Center of Charleston (DECC). She is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Supervisor through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. She is also involved in the WVU Dialectical Behavioral Therapy team. She attended Ohio University for her graduate training, and received her predoctoral internship training at WVUSOM in Charleston. Dr. Luzier specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, suicidal teens, mood and anxiety, and individuals with self-injury behavior.

Medical Services:

DECC works closely with medical providers across the state. Specialized medical services are available to people ages 10-26 with Dr. Annemarie Swamy, who is an Adolescent Medicine Specialist at the CAMC Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Psychological and Behavioral Services:

Emily Rodriguez, MS RD LD is a registered dietitian licensed by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the West Virginia Board of Licensed Dietitians. She completed her graduate training and Masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics through Marshall University. She specializes in the treatment of pediatric patients with various needs including those with eating disorders.
