HSC photographic services to be consolidated with University Relations

Biomedical photographer Bob Beverly, a long-serving member of the University Relations - Health Sciences team, has announced his intention to retire later this spring.

Effective after the 2017 Commencement, all professional photography services at the Health Sciences Center (HSC) will be consolidated within the WVU University Relations (UR) campus-wide photo services unit.

HSC schools and departments that require high quality photography for a marketing or communications purpose should make assignments through the photo request system at: http://universityrelations.wvu.edu/communications/request-a-photoshoot.

The requesting department will be responsible for photo costs unless the photo is taken for an HSC-wide or University-wide marketing project.

Departments are encouraged to shoot their own photos for on-the-spot use in newsletters, social media, etc., and for informal headshots, group shots, social events, etc., where the photo is not likely to see wide use or define WVU’s public image. UR Photography can offer guidance on in-house photography and will arrange a workshop at HSC if there is interest.
