University Medical Laboratories offering Direct Access Testing

Direct Access Testing, also known as direct-to-consumer and patient-directed testing, is available at University Medical Laboratories at the WVU Medicine Corporate Office (lower level).

This new service allows individuals to choose the laboratory tests they would like from a limited menu. Payment (cash, check, or credit card) is required at the time of testing as insurance will not be billed. No physician consultation is necessary, but the consumer/patient is responsible for any follow-up with his/her clinician.
