Practice Sites

  • Participants must be committed to a career in family medicine in a rural/small town in West Virginia

Amount Available

  • Qualified MS III's are eligible for a $10,000 stipend and facilitated admission to WVU's Morgantown Family Medicine Residency
  • Rural Scholars experience an enhanced primary care experience in the 4th year curriculum and early integration into the residency experience
  • Rural Scholars are eligible for additional residency program funds for advanced training courses
