Berkeley Springs

People acquainted with Berkeley Springs get excited when they hear that we have a house there. "Students are going to love Berkeley Springs," they say. George Washington loved the area for the natural mineral springs, and now, residents really love the town. Some claim it as the "center of the universe."

They enjoy being "cool and quirky." Berkeley Springs is home to WV's biggest solar company, a furniture manufacturer, and a homeopathic medicine company. Being relatively close to Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, there are about 5,000 vacation homes in Morgan County.

Truthfully, I have not yet spent much time in Berkeley Springs, but I will. Up to now, what I know comes from quick visits to our housing and check out this video from WVU Extension Service's "Voices of Change - Berkeley Springs".
