WVU Medicine Jon Michael Moore Trauma Center to celebrate the 11th Annual Night of Recognition has been canceled due to COVID

This annual event will be held Thursday, Oct. 18th, at the Morgantown Event Center. The night is about recognizing the hard work and dedication of the many professionals who comprise the trauma system – from the scene of the injury through inpatient hospital care to rehabilitation and recovery.

The stories of trauma patients will be shared, and representatives of each stage of their care will be presented with a Cornerstone of Recovery Award.

Patients recognized at previous Night of Recognition celebrations will also be in attendance at this year’s event.

Through sponsorship and ticket sales, proceeds from the Night of Recognition will provide crucial funds to the School of Medicine Department of Surgery to help support the life-saving work of the JMMTC, which provides outreach, teaching, research, and service to your trauma system team, your community, and your families.
